Carbide circular saw blades

Carbide tipped saw blades are the most commonly used edged tools for machining wood products, and are also often used for sawing and grooving metal materials. Zigong Xinhua Industry provides all kinds of high quality carbide products.

The quality of carbide saw blade is closely related to the quality of workpiece to be processed, therefore, choosing the right kind of carbide material to make carbide saw blade is of great significance to improve the quality of workpiece, shorten the processing cycle and reduce the processing cost.

The common types of tungsten carbide are tungsten-cobalt (YG) and tungsten-titanium (YT). As tungsten-cobalt carbide has better impact resistance, it is more widely used in the wood processing industry. Commonly used in wood processing models YG8-YG15, the number after YG indicates the percentage of cobalt content, cobalt content increases, the impact toughness and flexural strength of the alloy is improved, but the hardness and wear resistance is reduced, according to the actual situation to be selected.

Of course, the processing capacity and cutting performance of the saw blade is also affected by the material of the substrate, diameter, number of teeth, thickness, tooth shape, angle, aperture and other parameters.

The biggest influence on the cutting effect is the front angle, back angle, wedge angle.

1. Front angle - the cutting angle of the saw teeth; front angle is generally between 10-15 °; the larger the front angle, the better the sharpness of the saw teeth cutting, cutting the lighter and faster, the more energy-saving push material. The general material being processed when the material is softer, choose a larger front angle, and vice versa, choose a smaller front angle.

2. Back angle - the angle between the saw teeth and the processed surface; generally take the value of 15 °; can prevent the saw teeth and the processed surface friction; the larger the back angle, the smaller the friction, the more polished the processed product.

3. Wedge angle - derived from the front and rear angles; can not be too small; plays a role in maintaining the strength of the saw teeth, heat dissipation, durability.

The sum of the front angle, back angle and wedge angle is equal to 90°.

Carbide-tipped saw blades have a variety of tooth shapes, including flat teeth, trapezoidal flat teeth (high and low teeth), left and right teeth (alternating teeth), dovetail teeth (hump teeth), inverted trapezoidal teeth (inverted taper teeth), and the not-so-unusual industrial-grade three-left, one-right, left-right, left-right, left-right, and left-right flat teeth, etc.

1.Flat teeth--Flat teeth have rougher saw kerf, lower cost, slower cutting speed, easiest to sharpen, mainly used for ordinary wood sawing, can reduce sticking when cutting, also can be used for slotting saw blades to keep the bottom of the slot flat.

2.Trapezoidal and flat teeth - a combination of trapezoidal and flat teeth, grinding is more complicated, when sawing can reduce the phenomenon of veneer chipping, suitable for a variety of single and double veneer boards, fire prevention boards sawing.

3. Left and right teeth - the most widely used, fast cutting speed, relatively simple grinding, suitable for opening and cross-cutting sawing of various soft and hard solid wood profiles and density boards, multi-layer boards, particle boards and so on.

4. Dovetail teeth - equipped with anti-rebound force protection teeth of the left and right teeth, suitable for longitudinal cutting of a variety of tree knots of the plate; with a negative front angle of the left and right teeth of the saw blade due to the sharp teeth, sawing quality is good, usually used for veneer panel sawing.

5. Inverted trapezoidal teeth - commonly used in cutting saw bottom slot saw blade, in the sawing of double veneer boards, slot saw to adjust the thickness to complete the bottom of the slotting process, and then by the main saw to complete the sawing process of the board to prevent chipping phenomenon of the saw kerf.
